Now that’s what I call Library 2.0
Manchester Conference Centre, Thursday October 9th, 2008,
9.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.

Join Cilip’s Mulitimedia, Information and Technology Group for their 2008 annual
conference, taking place in the ‘state of the art’ Manchester Conference
Centre. The conference will investigate the current issues and developments
surrounding Web 2.0 technologies within library environments.

Some of the very best speakers on this topic will be presenting at the
conference, and the afternoon will feature a debate on the motion "This house
believes that libraries need to embrace Library 2.0 technologies in order to
develop and deliver their services"

The day will provide plenty of stimulating discussion and debate and will be
the perfect staff development conference for anyone involved or interested in
Library 2.0 developments. There will be plenty of opportunity to network with
colleagues from other institutions, and refreshments and lunch are all
provided.
