This three-day workshop, organized and sponsored by the
BBVA Foundation, offers a complete practical introduction
to multivariate methods that are useful for ecologists
working with empirical data. Presented by the statistician
Michael Greenacre and ecologist Raul Primicerio, this
workshop has been given several times over the past
five years in Tromso and Reykjavik, and this will be the
fourth time it is given at the BBVA Foundation in Madrid.
The workshop is aimed at all academics and researchers
working in the environmental sciences, and assumes only a
basic knowledge of statistics up to linear regression.
Participants are expected, however, to be familiar with the
R software program, which will be used for all practical sessions
in the afternoons of the course.
Participation is limited to 35 and is on a first-come
first-served basis.
