SAS Programmer (Contract)

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with good SAS Programming
skills to work one of the pharmaceutical world leaders. This Company that is
fully integrated from discovery to market in multiple therapeutic areas requires
a SAS Programmer to work as a Statistical Programmer/Analyst in a 12 month
contract role (which can be extended) at their office in Switzerland. A fully
furnished apartment is available.
JOB ROLE: The SAS Programmer will work under extensive direction with
responsibilities and activities that include:
Providing input into CRF specifications to collect data specified in
the protocol and query check specifications.
Programming (or writing validation programmes for) patient
randomisations and data manipulation and analysis.
Providing input into analysis plan specifications and data
presentations for clinical trials requiring routine Documenting tables/derived
listings/graphs for clinical trials or portions of clinical trials requiring routine
data manipulation and analysis.
Creating (or validating) routine derived datasets.
Employing routine or complex data manipulation steps using
efficient programming techniques.
Keeping abreast of SAS enhancements.
Developing a familiarisation with relevant clinical areas.
Participating effectively on teams for clinical trials requiring routine
data manipulation and analysis.
Understanding and following all statistical and statistical
programming SOPs as well as any other relevant SOP.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
MS, BS (or equivalent) in Statistics or relevant subject.
Pharmaceutical/Biotech or other relevant experience.
Expertise in SAS/BASE, SAS/STAT
Knowledge of SAS/CONNECT, SAS/MACRO, SQL
The ability to learn ICH and Statistical regulatory reporting
guidelines.
The ability to develop a familiarisation with relevant statistical
areas.
Excellent communication skills
