Research Assistant, Fixed-term for One year.
We are seeking a research assistant to support computing and statistical
analysis of hospital death rates. The successful candidate will have a first
degree in statistics, mathematics, computing or other numerate discipline,
experience of computing and familiarity with basic statistical terminology
and concept of hypothesis testing (p-value).
We will provide instruction where necessary in computer programming (SAS for
linux) and statistical methods such as multiple logistic regression.
Excellent computing power is available.
The salary for the role will be within the range of £24,973 - £27,044 pa
inclusive.
