A rare opportunity is available for a progressive and ambitious archivist or records manager to gain leading-edge experience across our archives and records management services. Records management in North Yorkshire is delivered flexibly, as an integral part of the work of the Record Office. You will not only lead on the development of the records management service, but you will also play a major role in the senior management of our rapidly developing archive service.
We are looking for a records professional with commitment, flexibility, and first-class communication, inter-personal, organisational and ICT
skills. In records management you will oversee a rapidly developing
paper storage system, as well as making a key contribution to the corporate roll-out of EDRMS. In archives you will make a vital contribution at senior level, including delegated responsibilities in relation to staffing, outreach activities, special projects, performance management and preparing the service for the digital future.
Full CPD support, including access to appropriate training events in archives and records management will be available to the successful applicant.
