I thought that was a hot curry, sorry just an 'off the wall' comment. ;-)

Yes, York to Sheffield via Vindolanda is a trek and a half! It's Robin
Hood: Prince of Thieves all over again ;-)
Arrive on the south coast, be at Hadrian's Wall by night fall. And once
there, 5 miles from home...in Nottighamshire!?
I have seen that film faaaar too many times. Ahem.
Seriously though, Vindolanda is a great place to visit! Hope you have a
enjoyable time while you're visiting.

So I'll be in London for a couple of days (Aug 2-4) and then Norwich
area for a day or so, York on the 6th and hoping to get to Vindolanda on
my way to Sheffield.
Is there a pub meeting in there somewhere? I would love to actually meet
some of you face to face!
