Having been away, I have come to this rather late, and have no wish to get
into an extented argument about the perceived qualities or otherwise of
Bonekickers, but I would suggest to Mark Horton that if he is insists on
attempting to justify some of the many glaring inaccuracies in the programme
to which he was the advisor by stating that other TV programmes are equally
at fault ("When does anyone wear high vis or hart hats on time team then"),
he gets his facts right.
Hard hats are worn by everyone on TT within range of working machinery, and
anyone who doesn't adhere to this gets a roasting off the H+S officer or a
member of the production team. If he thinks otherwise, then I suggest that
he watches an episode or two. High visibility clothing is not worn because
it produces camera 'flare', but this is compensated for by the presence of a
banksman who watches the working machine and the workers around it at all
times, which, I believe, is in line with H+S legislation.
