We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic research statistician to
contribute to the delivery of high-quality research in the area of
psychiatric epidemiology. The candidate will contribute to the analysis of
local cohort studies of adolescent mental health, epidemiological studies of
psychosocial factors and mental health and the 1958 Birth Cohort. They will
also provide statistical advice to graduate students and researchers in the
Centre. In addition, the candidate will contribute to research proposals to
funding bodies, develop national and international research links, and
publish research results in peer-reviewed journals. The appointee will work
closely with a team of co-investigators and will be supervised by Professor
Stephen Stansfeld.
Appointment will be made on the Research Grade 4/5, salary range £28,647 –
£37,552 pro-rata per annum. The post is fixed-term to June 2010. The
