Dear Otto,
apologies for my late answer. No, I was not able to solve the problem. I tried
a lot of things and at last I used another computer running Matlab 6.5 on
Windows 2000 without problems. What I didn't try then was to recompile dll
functions. Perhaps it could solve the problem.
