Hi Amit
I've reviewed your design and I'm not quite sure where the problem is. Is your subject factor, factor number 1? If not it should be. I set up almost exactly an equivalent model to yours with subject as factor 1 and it works fine (works mean the contrasts behave as expected).
That being said I would discourage you from having a design with all the effects. It is much easier to have a design with just the subject factor and the 3 way interaction (of group, region and side in your case) and then to form all the relevant contrasts from that design.
