Part-time Evening Class Lecturers
German, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese (preferably Brazilian Portuguese)

The Humanities Department offers an evening class programme to
students, staff and visitors to the College throughout the academic
year (from October to March). The evening language programme offers
classes at Beginners to Advanced levels. The posts involve planning and
teaching classes which take place for German and Portuguese between
6.00pm and 7.30pm and for Mandarin Chinese between 6.00pm and 8.00pm
for 20 weeks during the Autumn and Spring Terms (30 hours in total for
German and Portuguese, 40 hours in total for Mandarin Chinese).
You will be a graduate, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in
modern languages, linguistics, or related field and with experience of
adult education teaching.
The salary for the 30 hour course will be £1027.50 and for the 40 hour
course, £1370.00.
