Subject: Request to disability officers setting 08-09 NMH rates.
I'd like to ask a big favour from disability officers. When you finish
reviewing and updating your NMH costs for the 2008-09 academic year, if you
don't do this already could you please publish this information on a
separate page on your website and send me a link to that page (send it to
me, not to the list). I'm compiling a page of links to this information on
the ASASA site for assessors to use, so they can get the rates right in
reports if they can't get hold of the disability officer. Providing contact
details for disability staff on the same page could also be helpful.
If possible, send the email to [log in to unmask] using the subject NMH RATES
and just to make it as easy as possible (for me - I don't get paid for this,
you know), in the message text state your university name and then provide
the link on the next line.
If for any reason you cannot publish this information on your website, you
could send me a simple Word document attachment with the information and I
could convert this into a page on the ASASA site, but I'd really prefer not
to do this if at all possible as it means more work for me plus there's a
risk of out of date information being left online if you decide to update
your rates or change your contact details.
If you don't already do this and want to see an example to help get started,
I'd suggest having a look at the London Metropolitan University page at
https://intranet.londonmet.ac.uk/studentservices/dyslexia-disabilities/needsassessors.cfm
Others might have suggestions on how to layout this information.
Thanks in advance.
