On the line of the already available bibliography, I think the following
could be a good addition:
William Brockman et al.
Scholarly Work in the Humanities and the Evolving Information Environment
Digital Library Federation Council on Library and Information Resources,
(Dec 2001)
http://www.clir.org/pubs/reports/pub104/contents.html
The authors include Palmer (who is already in the bibliography), but
this paper described in more details the approach taken in evaluating
humanities scholars'work in connection with the use of digital
resources. So it's less theoretical (the perspective is still on the
library environment though, so rather wide).
I hope this helps,
Arianna
