An Environmetrics workshop is being held as a satelite event to ISBA08, on the 17th and 18th of July at Queensland University of Technology , Brisbane . Abstracts for each of the workshop speakers are available on the conference website.

Robert Wolpert - Bayesian analysis of fecal indicator bacteria criteria for water quality.
Chris Jewell - Real-Time Inference and Risk-Prediction for emerging infectious diseases.
Jim Clark - Combined impacts on forest diversity: inferring the combined impacts of all pathogens on all hosts, with environmental context.
Birgir Hrafnkelsson - Bayesian modeling of spatially correlated climate extremes.
David Draper - Bayesian analysis of an inverse problem in groundwater contaminant transport.
David Makowski - Implementation of the interacting particle filter with complex dynamic crop models.
Robert Denham - Bayesian analyses at NRW
Sama Low Choy - Collating expert opinions on brush-tailed rock wallaby habitat: Indirect elicitation using an elicitation tool and GIS.
The workshop also includes a contributed poster session and a panel discussion.
