University of Surrey; Department of Psychology
Research Fellow in Functional Neuroimaging
Job Reference – 6631; 3 year post commencing August 2008 or thereafter;
Salary: £ 27,466
Rated 5 in the last RAE, the Department of Psychology has expanded its
research capabilities in fundamental and clinical neuroscience, and now
seeks the appointment of a post-doctoral research fellow to work with
the head of the Cognitive Neuroscience Group, Professor Annette Sterr
and her team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive
researcher with a background (ideally a PhD or nearly completed) in
functional neuroimaging and an interest in cognition. Applications from
persons with expertise in motor cognition, stroke or aging would be
particularly welcome.
The department of Psychology has excellent neuroimaging facilities,
including a research-only 3-Tesla MRI, an MRI simulator, and
multi-channel EEG. The support infrastructure comprises a radiographer
and an image analysis, both funded by the department.
