Job description: This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated researcher
or archivist of post-doctoral standing to work with the newly formed
Ligatus Research Unit and the John Latham Estate on the AHRC funded
project: ‘Re-animating John Latham through Archive as Event.’ It
represents a fascinating field of research on John Latham’s cosmological
theory by combining archival material and current internet related
technologies.
You will be involved in a comprehensive study of the John Latham archive
identifying and digitising documents of particular importance which
highlight the artist’s practice and theory. You will also compile
published material on the work so far and relate this material to both
the archive and artwork.
