The Statistics Research and Analysis Group at NFER are looking for statisticians who are keen to contribute to projects at the forefront of educational research in the UK. If you are at the start of your career and wish to join a friendly and professional team of statisticians, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for talented and enthusiastic statisticians who are keen to develop their professional knowledge and statistical skills. We are interested in applications from individuals who are capable of carrying out high quality statistical analyses, as part of different research teams across the NFER. We welcome applications from new and recent graduates who are interested in developing a statistical career in a challenging and supportive work environment.
The person appointed will:
be qualified in statistics;
have a practical and well-organised approach to the analysis of data;
be able to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines;
be able to communicate effectively, both with researchers and with other statisticians;
work flexibly as a member of a team and have an interest in education or general social science research.
