Jose',
This looks like your graphics database has been corrupted, for example
if you hit CTRL/C at an inopportune time. Try removing the database
$HOME/agi_<machine>.sdf, where <machine> will be your computer's name,
and try again.
The graphics database lets different applications graphics interact,
such as displaying an image, then running another task that overlays
contours, and then another that lets you read off co-ordinates and
values for features selected with the cursor. In the case of PONGO you
could, for example, annotate those features for a publication graphic.
The database remembers all the pictures plotted, their bounds in
different co-ordinate systems, associated data, pictiure type etc.
Regular deletion of the graphics database is normal procedure for
efficiency. It can grow quite large otherwise, and most of the
information is long irrelevant after you've refreshed the graphics
device.
