Happy Monday! I wanted to let you know about some great resources for
your system administrators or instructional designers.

Office Hours are available on a consistent basis and are a great way to
interact with other members of the community who may be asking the same
questions you are about Blackboard products.

Occasionally we'll have themed topics but a lot of times, it's just an
open opportunity to get a question you've been wondering about answered.


Here is some info for you. Feel free to pass along to members of your
communities.

 

What is Office Hours?
A live Q&A chat with various members of the Blackboard Upgrade Team.
Various people from Solution Engineers, Support Team members and Product
Marketing are on hand to answer questions and facilitate a discussion.

 

Who is this for?
These sessions are open to anyone. Many system administrators,
instructional designers and distance learning staff chime in often.

 

When do these take place?

The Office Hours are typically on Thursdays and Tuesday. 

Most of them are at 1pm EDT but there are some that are also at 11am
EDT.

Which kind of Office Hours are for me?
There are two sets of designated Office Hours for those clients who have
CE & Vista products and those who have the Learning System - Enterprise
clients. 

These all are available under the drop-down menu: Blackboard Academic
Suite Support when you are in the Blackboard Events Center on Webex.

Go to: www.blackboard.com/webinars 

Select your session and enroll online. 

You will receive an email confirmation with your meeting number,
password and url to login at the time of the session.

 

What's coming up for this week?

Office Hours this week will focus on Exploring the Enhancement Request
process with Doris Drugescu. Some of you may know Doris who was a Client
who became a Client Support Engineer this past year. Take a look at
