To all Librarians,
MaLIA, the Malta Library and Information Association, as part of its programme of international collaboration welcomes any librarians who may happen to be visiting the small Island of Malta in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea - since 2004 a full member of the EU

http://www.visitmalta.com/main.
We would be pleased to meet any such librarians who can spare 3 hours of their holiday or business time to deliver a free one-two hour talk to our members - usual turn out about 20-30 members. Any topic will be considered but we would need to be informed at least a month ahead to discuss the topic, make the necessary venue arrangements and issue a notice to our members. In exchange for this free talk MaLIA would, with pleasure, host the speaker and any accompanying partner to a free meal at one of the many lovely restaurants on the Island.
So if you want to meet fellow librarians and add value to your holiday or business trip to Malta, get in touch. We would be very pleased to hear from you.
