Hi Antun,
thanks for the prompt reply, just would like to clarify if SE is really
needed if site dont actually need this while i have impression this is
required as basic site architecture until referring to SLD.
but i am wondering if this have impact to the overall site availability if
not having SRM results? or SAM will take into considerations only for
those have SRM add into gocdb, but take into account only SE and sBDII if
not having any local SRM end point available.
MON is another issue while we're hoping to provide regional wide mon box
service which we think might be helpful for resource centers with limited
resources but would like to serve all resources for job execution rather
to have chance setting up MON locally. we will escalate this issue further
to APROC support list once all ROC mgr agree this is benefitial for sites
yet have MON box installed (especially for those being certified).
we also help sites configured MON and SE (DPM base) in same box, while the
tomcat port have to be changed from 8443 to other preferred port number to
avoid confliction with SRMv1. this we help two of regional resoruce
centers that have bind SE and MON together before (while SE rely on
classicSE before migrating to DPM).
thanks
Br,
J
