Professor Uta Frith: What autism teaches us about social cognition
9-10th October 2008
The Department of Psychology at Stirling has an annual public lecture,
the John Damien Lecture. This year the speaker will be Uta Frith, title
"What autism teaches us about social cognition". The talk is scheduled
for 6pm on 9th October, in the Logie Lecture Theatre at Stirling
The following day, the 10th, there will be an informal workshop to
present and discuss ongoing research on autism. Uta Frith will be
present, though not planning to present anything herself. Attendance is
especially welcomed from researchers in Scotland and the north of
England, though it is open to all. Numbers will be limited to about 40.
The event is free, with lunch provided.
Talks will be of the order of 15 minutes. Nothing will be published.
