We are about to move our archives from their current location in a room
which has very poor (ie damp) environmental conditions into a new
storeroom. I plan to check all documents for any signs of mould, insect
infestation etc before transfering them to new packaging/boxing, but does
anyone have any advice on whether the documents themselves should be dried
or treated in any other way before being moved.
Thanks
