The Centre for Bioinformatics, Imperial College London, is inviting you to
the satellite meeting:
"Stochastic dynamic modelling for Systems Biology, learning and inference."
that will be held on Thursday July 3rd 2008 in Lille on the occasion of the
conference JOBIM 2008.
This satellite meeting aims to provide an opportunity for researchers from
France and the UK to meet and discuss issues surrounding dynamical systems
in systems biology. Unlike in the physical sciences the structure of the
mathematical models underlying biological processes and systems are still
unknown and the inherent noise in biological data poses considerable
problems for statistical inference and learning approaches. Presentations
will cover a range of recent developments related to modelling, learning and
statistical inference of dynamical systems and their parameters.
Registration is free but mandatory for the organisation of the meeting. To
register, please send an email to [log in to unmask] (best before June
15th).
The satellite will be held in a lecture hall of University of Lille 1.
Complete directions will be soon available from the webpage of the satellite
meeting : http://www.bioinformatics.ic.ac.uk/slebre/
Confirmed Speakers :
- Tina Toni, Centre for Bioinformatics, Imperial College London, UK.
