Fellow in Pedometrics
£37,266 - £46,992 per annum
This new post will form part of a strategic investment in
pedometrics in the University’s National Soil Resources
Institute (NSRI). The NSRI is the UK National Reference
Centre for Soil and holds national and international data
sets and soil information resources. It has a strong track
record in pedometrics research and strong links with leaders
in the field internationally. It is therefore well placed as an
international centre of excellence for pedometrics.
You will be experienced and published in pedometrics
or a related topic, in mathematical modelling, and will
have a record of winning competitive, peer-reviewed
research funding. Supporting existing work programmes
in digital soil mapping and environmental modelling, you
will develop a personal research portfolio by attracting
research funding and PhD students. You will also
promote and grow the University’s reputation in this field
through peer-reviewed publications and participation in
