Dear All,
Here at Coventry University Library I am currently looking at ways to
improve and promote our study skills collection. This is a collection of
books about general study skills, such as presentation skills, essay
writing, report writing etc. The University as a whole has a strong
study skills portfolio and we have a Maths Support Unit and a Centre for
Academic Writing - both of whom run drop-in sessions in the library.
My question is, has anyone done anything innovative or different with
their study skills collections?
Do you have a study skills collection at all, or are the books mixed in
with the general collection?
Have you created an online area/presence for study skills?
Is your collection well used?
I would also be very interested in coming to visit and have a look at
other collections if that would be at all possible.
Any help or guidance you could give me would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Olivia
