Applications are invited for a Research Fellow in
Primary Care Epidemiology in the Brighton and
Sussex Medical School (BSMS). We seek to appoint
a qualified and experienced medical
statistician/epidemiologist who will be able to
contribute to analysis of large primary care datasets and
to develop further research in this field. The
appointee will join the Division of Primary Care and Public
Health.
The NHS Connecting for Health programme is
creating a need for multidisciplinary research aimed at
supporting the contribution of electronic records
for patient care. This post will further the
development of research related to electronic
health records within Brighton and Sussex Medical
School and in collaboration within its parent universities.
Brighton & Sussex Medical School is a joint
venture between the Universities of Brighton and Sussex,
and received its first medical students in 2003.
It has grown rapidly and highly successfully, and now
has a strong portfolio of health services
research, basic science and clinical science groups.
