Just a note that I've updated one of my machines to Fedora 9. The main
interest is that this comes with GCC 4.3 as standard, so offers the
possibility of having an installation that only requires the vanilla
compilers (gcc/gfortran/g++), at long last!
The good news is that I've done a "make world" and it works. The bad news
is that some changes to C-shell have comprehensively broken the GAIA
startup scripts, but I've fixed those. I also came across an optimisation
bug that broke part of CCDPACK (CCDGENERATE), committed a work around for
that as well. So far that's it.
