Just to add that the Welsh Assembly and Scottish Parliament both have
PSB inquiries underway.
Ofcom's 'weighing' and 'measuring' follows its 'filtering'. For a
less predigested account of the public view of future of public
service broadcasting see the IPSOS-MORI research published as an
annex to PSB: Phase One and also available from the Ofcom website
(below).
For a less broadband dominated vision see the Scottish Broadcasting
Commission's study from TNS System Three published on 9 May and
available via http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Research.
Are there any members of this list that feel VLV is too defensive,
preocuppied with national PSB and the BBC - or have I missed VLV
support for proposals to replace (or maintain) regional PSB to meet
viewer demand?
