Dear All
Apologies for cross posting
The Scottish Health Information Network (SHINe) and CILIPS (CILIP Scotland) are delighted to announce a joint event at the CILIP/SLIC Conference on Wednesday June 4th 2008. The event "Transforming health information services" is open to anyone either working in the health information area or with an interest in health information.
This conference strand is part of the main CILIPS/SLIC annual conference. The programme is an interesting mix of projects and people from different aspects of health information services. The programme can be found here http://www.slainte.org.uk/EventsXtra/0806/shineseminar.doc
Morning coffee (and hot rolls it has been rumoured), lunch and as much coffee and cakes as you can manage are all included in the price. The cost is £40 (plus vat) and a free bus will be running from Glasgow.
We know that certification is important to people and employers. CILIPS have confirmed that they provide certification on the day for CILIP members, but I have asked that they also provide certification for non-CILIP members
too.
I look forward to meeting you all on the day. For informal enquiries please contact [log in to unmask] The booking form and programme are at the link above, and should be returned to CILIPS, not to me!
Regards
Joanna Ptolomey
SHINe Chair
