Developing the JISC website for librarians - call for expert feedback
JISC is reviewing its website (www.jisc.ac.uk <http://www.jisc.ac.uk> ) to tailor its content to meet the needs of library and information professionals (including repository developers) and to provide easy access to key e-learning information, tasks and relevant resources.
An Audience Experts focus group was held in February with some members of the library and information community who regularly use the JISC website. This provided a deep insight into the motivations of this community, its perceptions of the current website and its views on a personal JISC homepage with content personalised to their own preferences. The white boards from these focus groups are available on the Audience Experts Panel blog (http://audience.jiscinvolve.org/).
To develop this insight further, we'd like to know how you use the JISC website, what key tasks you carry out on the site, what information is important to you in your work and what your views of the current website are.
The survey should only take about 15 minutes to complete. All questions are optional, although we hope that you will attempt to answer as many questions as possible. The survey will close on Friday 23 May and can be found at: http://survey.jisc.ac.uk/librarians <http://survey.jisc.ac.uk/librarians>
Some of the findings from the survey will be published on the Audience Experts Panel blog in the summer.
