EFFECTIVE USE OF WEB 2.0 IN BUSINESS
Trainer: Karen Blakeman
Now that the hype of Web 2.0 has died down, how useful has it turned out
to be in practice and what impact has it had on the way we work? Where,
realistically, does it fit on the Gartner hype cycle: are we down in the
trough of disillusionment, or slowly clambering up the slope of
enlightenment to the plateau of productivity?
This workshop will start with a brief overview of Web 2.0 and what it
means. It will then look in more detail at how different applications and
services can be used as sources of information, as a means of enhancing
services to users and clients, and as a way to raise the profile of your
organisation.
Tuesday 24 June
