Are you a dynamic information/library professional wishing to further your career in
a stimulating academic library? Do you have a degree/postgraduate qualification in
Library/information Science with a keen interest in customer service? Based primarily
at the Milbourne Street Library in Carlisle, you will be committed to the academic
success of students and staff. The varied work includes working at the frontline,
pro-active liaison with tutors and the teaching of information skills. A legal
qualification and/or experience of working in a law library or legal
environment will be a distinct advantage. Excellent interpersonal skills and
knowledge of ICT is essential, as is a willingness to adapt to a constantly changing
higher education environment.
