Dear friends,
We are trying (here in Greece) to be able to create splints for paraplegic
people that can be used for typing on a computer keyboard. The splint
should be equiped with a pointing edge which is used to press the keys. I
am aware that these splints are usually made out of a plastic material
which with the use of heat, they are moulded around the hand of the user,
but is there anything already made? If not, could somebody point me towards
a supplier of this kind of material?
Also, does anybody know of any simple trackballs and touchpads that have
the buttons on the top side, where they could be easily accessed by a
person using such a splint? I have found a few but I am not fully
satisfied, I am sure there should be better/simpler devices out there.
Thank you!
Chris
