The themes are intended as a guide rather than as definitive statements of content as one of the aims of the day is to identify the issues we need to consider further. Participants in the workshops are encouraged to discuss issues they have encountered in their own teaching practice. As this event is intended to start a converstaion papers need not be in a finished form and descriptions of work in progress are welcome. There will be an opportunity to publish papers presented in the online peer reviewed journal ELiSS (Enhanced Learning in the Social Sciences)
