The Mental Health Clinical Trials Unit within the Department of Biostatistics at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London invites applications for two posts:
The first post (reference number 08/A26) is for a non-clinical Senior Lecturer to lead the Mental Health CTU within the Department of Biostatistics. The post holder will provide academic leadership and expertise to lead the activities of the CTU. Applicants should have expertise in the design and analysis of multi-centre clinical trials, experience in medical statistics, epidemiology, or a related discipline with an international publication record and the ability to supervise and direct research. Starting salary is in the range £45,114 pa to £51,930 pa inclusive of £2,323 pa London Allowance, depending on qualifications and experience.
The second post (reference number 08/A27) is for a non-clinical Lecturer to provide expertise in contemporary biostatistical methods as applied in clinical child psychology and psychiatry including responsibility for the statistical aspects of a number of randomised controlled trials. Applicants should have relevant experience of working as an applied statistician, preferably with expertise in methods commonly employed in the behavioural sciences. Starting salary is in the range £30,612 pa to £43,868 pa inclusive of £2,323 pa London Allowance, depending on qualifications and experience.
