*Mental Health Adviser (full time)
**Salary: £25,889 - £32,796 per annum with the potential to progress to
£35,837

This is an exciting new opportunity to play a key role in supporting
University students with mental health difficulties. Based in the
Disability and Dyslexia Support Service, the Mental Health Adviser will
work mainly with students who experience severe, complex and enduring
difficulties, aiming to ensure that they are able to enjoy full
inclusion in University life. There will also be the opportunity for
the successful candidate to take responsibility for other areas such as
mental health promotion and staff training. The successful applicant
will be able to demonstrate a significant background in mental health
work, together with appropriate professional qualifications. Skills in
mental health assessment and crisis management, together with the
willingness to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues
involved in student mental health issues, are essential requirements of
the post.
