ABSTRACT
This course will survey the broad field of multivariate survival data. It
will cover both clustered survival data as well as settings where a single
subject may have multiple, possibly repeated events over time. The course
will survey the variety of types of multivariate survival data and
illustrate the association structures which are encountered in practice.
This will motivate key quantities and modelling approaches. We will
examine both cluster specific (conditional) and population averaged
approaches to modelling, their relative advantages and drawbacks. We will
pay special attention to computation with practical sessions to provide an
experience of fitting and interpreting various models.
The course is directed to people actively involved in the field of medical
statistics with some background in survival analysis
*** DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS 10 JUNE ***
