This is just to let you know about a new MSc course in Human
Neuroscience programme at Royal Holloway University of London (full
details can be found at
The programme aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and
skills to conduct research in most areas of human neuroscience and the
relationship between brain and behaviour. The range of topics includes
anatomical, physiological, cognitive and computational neuroscience.
Seven course units provide systematic coverage of material essential for
understanding the relationships between brain and behaviour, and the key
physiological and statistical methods important for deciphering these. A
variety of teaching methods are used, including lectures, tutorials and
seminars. Students gain ‘hands-on’ experience through the research
project and practical workshops. There will be in-depth discussions and
evaluation of timely and controversial issues in different areas of
human neuroscience. These will each foster the development of students'
individual research interests. The course will run for a year (October
2008 – September 2009).
