I thought it interesting that the review gives prominence to the poem
"Hotel Lautréamont", because to me it seems to be one of the very few
Ashbery poems of recent years that adds anything to what he's done
before.
On another note, the real Miss Joan Hunter Dunn, a la Betjeman, died
this week aged 92, so Broadcasting House tells me. It's quite a good
edition of the programme, worth following up, it has a woman who has
been 'stalked' for years as the 'muse of John Tavener' talking as I
write.
