FOR NURSING EDUCATION
Dear Colleagues,
We are seeking your feedback on the initial draft of the Global Standards
for Initial Nursing and Midwifery Education, developed from the consensus
meeting on this subject in December 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The need for such standards arises from the World Health Assembly (WHA)
through the WHA54.12 resolution to strengthen the nursing and midwifery
profession and identified as a priority action item for the professions in
order to achieve Millennium Development Goals (MDG) for health.
We request your review of the draft standards document

AND completion of the response form

Your feedback is valuable to the establishment of these standards and we

ORGANIZACIÓN MUNDIAL DE LA SALUD, esta realizando una consulta mundial sobre
el documento GLOBAL STANDARDS FOR NURSING EDUCATION. Lo está haciendo con la
cooperación de Sigma Theta Tau Internacional que es una organización mundial
de enfermería. Es muy importante que las enfermeras y las organizaciones de
