Hello,
Also a good tip if you are finding it hard to find relevant MeSH
headings. Do a simple free textword search first, then sift through and
pick out some relevant articles, select in the display drop down menu
'citation' and see what MeSH headings they have applied to that article.
For this example I searched using "short people" (one of several
possible phrases/synonyms) putting it in speech marks so it searches for
that exact phrase. I selected some articles and found that they used
'Body Height' MeSH heading quite regularly. Although it doesn't narrow
it down to short people, it still gets you papers focusing on body
height.
Kind Regards,
Emma

Subject: Example of improper MeSH mapping: Short People = Terminally
Ill; Little People = Bees
***Cross-posted; Please feel free to forward***
Hello, everyone. If you need a good example of improper MeSH mapping,
here's one. I tried looking up the MeSH term for short people and got
Terminally Ill instead; the Suggestions included Street People and Short
Waves. Little people mapped to Bees, with the Suggestions of Little
Millet and Street People. The best-matching MeSH for my concept is
Dwarfism.
Take care,
Tanya
