Our IT department has just bought a Planet Estream licence ( a video
recording server with record facilities for digital tv amongst other
features) and the Library is looking at the opportunity to do off-air
records on the video server rather than on DVDs as is the current
practice.
One of the issues to be resolved is the need to put a copyright notice in
front of each recording, similar to the labels placed on a DVD. We can't
upload a blanket copyright notice because the notice needs to include the
date and name of broadcaster and programme title as well as the copyright
rubric. If anyone is using this service or a similar service, I would be
grateful if you could let me know how you meet these requirements? Ideally
we would like to avoid having to type all the details onto the weblink
page which is a possible but time consuming option.
I will summarise responses for the list
Many thanks
