Advanced Internet Search Strategies

This popular course looks at recent developments from Google, the
alternatives and the new kids on the block. Practical sessions will
include trying advanced search techniques and comparing search engines,
finding audio, video and podcasts.
Effective Use of Web 2.0 in Business
Thursday 5 June 10am - 5pm
Starts with a brief overview of Web 2.0 and what it means. Then looks in
more detail at how different applications and services can be used as
sources of information, as a means of enhancing services to users and
clients, and as a way to raise the profile of your organisation. Their
role and contribution to business and competitive intelligence will also
be explored. There will be a heavy practical element to the workshop.
