Dear colleagues,
Registration is now open for the IFLA Satellite Meeting in Boston, MA, 5-7
August 2008 ”Rethinking Access to Information: Evolving Perspectives on
Information Content and Delivery”. Membership of IFLA is not required for
this event – it’s open for everyone interested in how libraries rethink
their services in the areas of Resource Sharing, Collection Development and
Reference & Information Services.
Please join us in Boston for this unique opportunity for a Global exchange
of ideas. Check out the program at
http://www.bcr.org/rethinkingaccess/index.html and send your registration
on line.
Registration will stay open until July 28 and on site registration will not
be possible. Registrations are accepted on a ‘first come first serve’ basis.
Be sure to book your stay at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel just steps
away from the Boston Public Library which is the venue of this conference.
A negotiated rate is available if you follow the ‘Book your stay now’ link
on the conference website or call the hotel directly. Remember to request
the rate for Rethinking Access to Information.
See you in Boston!
Kind regards,
Poul Erlandsen
