A demonstrator motivated by the JISC Preserv 2 project and
implemented by its technical team has won the $5000 CRIG challenge
competition held at the Open Repositories international conference.
This approach has practical implications for sharing repository data
and preservation, which the project will investigate further, and is
an early example of the use of the emerging OAI-Object Reuse and
Exchange (ORE) framework.
