Generic currently have a requirement for a Planning Information officer to
start ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
*To be the administrator for the department's Northgate suite of systems
including maintaining and implementing improvements to the system.
*To be the administrator for the department's GIS (GGP) system including
maintaining and implementing improvements to the system.
*To set up, maintain and implement improvements to other departmental
Databases.
*To prepare plans and drawings, both by hand and using computer systems,
including the presentation of development plan maps and arrangements for
printing.
*To assist in the updating and maintenance of the Land and Property
Gazeteer data.
*To assist in the development and operation of a local plan monitoring
System.
*To map departmental data on GIS (GGP). To assist the LLPG and GIS Officer
in ensuring quality assurance for the department's mapping and NLPG
systems.
*To implement the delivery of Planning Portal product and Planning Public
Access system.
*To implement improvements to the information on the corporate Website
about the department's functions.
*To design and produce reports to enable the extraction of data from the
department's IT systems.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
*To use printers and plan copiers and to respond to requests for plans
including preparing plans for legal documents.
*To provide support to other users of the GIS (GGP) system in the
Department.
