Dear All
I thought you may like to have information about an event which I and various others from the Justice in Health Network (JIHN) are attending :-
The Future of Regulating Health Professionals
– the Patient’s Perspective
Thursday, 24 April 2008
Avonmouth House, 6 Avonmouth Street , London , SE1 6NX
The event has the aim of involving a wide-range of patient and public representatives in plans for increasing patient safety by improving the way that health professionals are regulated
For those travelling from outside London, reimbursement of return rail / travel costs is available (2nd class not 1st).
Please also let me know if you are already registered to attend, or intend to register.
This is an important opportunity to have a say in the development of CHRE and DoH strategy for patient and public involvement, and in the development of healthcare professional regulation policy.
However for this consultation to have an impact, we need to develop an ongoing monitoring process. I hope those who wishing to attend will play a role in developing that process, and would welcome contact in that regard.
Attached are the invitation document, and the Draft Agenda.
Kind regards
