Hi Najib
As I advised the list before - try clearing the JRE cache. Here at UoR
we thought we had problems running the latest version of JRE, until a
colleague tried clearing the JRE cache and hey presto the collaboration
tools worked. We're running Bb 7.3 currently. I wouldn't advise using
out of date versions of JRE as you'll lack security updates and I don't
imagine you want to hackers have a back door or key logger trojan on
your network's PCs ...
You should be able to access the console via the control panel, or via
the icon that appears in the tool tray when once you've got one of the
Bb applets running.
Best regards
Peter Barnes

Najib
I'm on 1.6 and I get the same problem as you did.
Worth raising a Blackboard support call on this?
