Summary
This is a part-time position (50%) for a Research Associate to work in the
Complex Disease Research Group and the Statistical Genetics Unit at the
Guy's Campus, King's College London.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of genetic
and clinical data from genome-wide scans in inflammatory bowel disease
(IBD), on behalf of the UK IBD Genetics Consortium. The position will also
provide opportunities to perform statistical analysis of the data,
identifying genetic associations with IBD.
Details Applicants must have an appropriate academic qualification in
quantitative analysis, and experience of data management, preferably in
genetic research studies. They should be able to work independently on
defined projects and as members of a multidisciplinary team, and have an
organised approach to work.

Salary The starting salary will be on Grade 6: £28,289 plus £2,323 London
allowance per annum pro rata.
Post duration The post is available for two years.
